A conventional name plate can be just a plain text that is used to display a name. What if you can design the name plate that is more fun to suit your own style and taste. It can be as bright and colourful as you like.

For this task, students can create their own name plate using their own creativity to make it as attractive as they like. Students will also learn how to connect the circuit and understand how the tilt switch works. To make the name plate more exciting, the LED is incorporated into the circuit which will only light up when the name plate is placed at the correct position.

The sign plate with light indicator can also be used to attract the attention, for example using the message ‘reserved’ for table reservation.
